What is NAT-NFR-NFP Concept ?The NAT (Natural Wax Technique), NFR (Natural Functional Reconstruction), NFP (Natural Functional Prosthesis) concept uses an occlusal compass and a dental coordinate system to capture natural excursions. Contact points, space maintenance, and more are replicated on a segmental basis to result in beautiful, anatomically correct and functional prosthesis. The NAT, NFR, NFP concept produces beautiful and comfortable results for cases that are first seem hopeless because it is based on occlusal compass analyses and occlusal theories found in natural teeth morphology.

Road map for full mouth reconstruction
Art Dental Lab (Philip/Han) has completed decades of full mouth reconstruction cases with the NAT-NFR-NFP Concept. We begin with an impression with accurate margins, tissue landmarks, and record CR, CO, facebow, smile line, canine position, and midline. Philip and Han apply their decades of clinical and lab experience to present multiple treatment plan options for the patient. Once the treatment plan is finalized, Philip and Han visit your clinical facility at least 3 times. Impressions and take records (1st visit), Try-in NAT wax prosthesis (2nd visit), and deliver the final prosthesis (3rd visit). We fabricate the NAT wax prosthesis so bilateral balanced occlusion and group function in excursions can be simulated on a fully adjustable KAVO articulator. If more visit is needed, we will gladly arrange time to meet with you and your patient.
At the try-in appointment, we verify TMJ comfort, precision of fit, esthetics, function, and occlusion. The framework and implant abutments are milled via Cad/Cam to Zirconia/BioHPP prosthesis at Art Dental Lab. All of our diagnostic wax-ups are done by hand-wax.

All titanium abutments are inserted with a resin jig. The fit is verified via radiograph. BioHPP copings are inserted and screws are tightened. The NAT wax setup is inserted intraorally. Bite, function, and esthetics are verified in the mouth. All functional movements are simulated in the mouth. The bridge wax-up is copied and milled via Cad/Cam technology. Color is applied to the zirconia bridge (green stage) before sintering it in a furnace. The bridge is contoured, stained, and glazed. |
