Flexible Partial Dentures
Flexible Partial Dentures
A removable partial denture usually consists of replacement teeth attached to a pink or gum-colored plastic base, which is sometimes connected by metal framework that holds the denture in place in the mouth. Sometimes crowns are placed on some of patients' natural teeth and serve as anchors for the denture. Partial dentures are used when one or more natural teeth remain in the upper or lower jaw.
Flexible Partial (Front/Full)
These are set up with wax and pressed with flexible plastic. (Includes flexible partial and stock teeth for anterior and posterior.) Denture teeth can be either stock teeth or premium teeth. Clinicians can also request dental technicians to use stock or premium teeth beforehand.
Flipper
Flipper dentures, also known as acrylic removable partial dentures, are a type of temporary denture that can be used to fill gaps in your smile. These dentures consist of a retainer with one or more prosthetic teeth, and they're usually used to replace missing front teeth. If you have gaps in your smile, you may be wondering if a flipper denture is a good option for you.
Nesbit
A Nesbit denture is a removable partial denture for only one side of the upper or lower arch. It replaces a tooth or teeth and usually is retained by clasps, preferably with rests on the supporting teeth to prevent the denture from settling into the gum tissue.
